Lo mdlali odabuka eNseleni, ngaseRichards Bay, ugqame ngesikhathi iStars iqhwakela esigabeni sesibili kwiTelkom Netball League. Uphinde adlalele iZiphozonke kwiKZN Netball Super League.
Uqokelwe emunxeni i-Sportswoman of the Year lapho ezobanga khona indondo nomsubathi uTayla Kavanagh nomdlali wekhilikithi uNonkululeko Mlaba.

"Ngithukile ngesikhathi ngithola lezi zindaba kodwa ngijabule kakhulu. Ngiyaqala ngqa ukuqokelwa indondo enkulu kangaka. Ngithe uma sengicabanga ngabona ukuthi ngibe nesizini enhle lapho ngikwazile ukukhuphula khona izinga enkundleni ngaphinde ngalihola ngendlela efanele iqembu ngokuba yisibonelo esihle," kusho Ntshangase.
"Ngiqokwe nabanye besifazane abahamba phambili eKZN nasezweni lonke. Ukuba ngomunye wabathathu kukodwa kusho lukhulu. Kuyangikhuthaza ukuthi ngiqhubeke nokuzimisela."
UNtshangase uthe yize umdlalo awuthanda kuqala kwakuwunobhutshuzwayo kodwa i-netball isimuvulele iminyango eminingi.
"Ngisafunda emabangeni aphansi, ngangizifela ngebhola kodwa othisha babona ukuthi ngingangena kwi-netball. Angibange ngisabheka emuva njengoba ngaqhubeka ne-netball esikoleni ngaphinde ngadlalela amaqembu aseNseleni ngaze ngafinyelela kwiZiphozonke," usho kanje.
"Ngangingazi ukuthi ngizohamba ngize ngifinyelele kwiTelkom League naseqenjini lesizwe. Ngaphandle kwalokho, i-netball ingivulele amathuba kweZimnyama izindawo njengoba ngakwazi ukuthola umfundaze wokungena esikoleni semfundo ephakeme iTshwane University of Technology.
"Ngibona ukuthi ngiyisibonelo esihle nasemphakathini waseNseleni ngoba bayakwazi ukungibuka kwithelevishini uma ngidlala futhi uma ngisekhaya bangikhombisa uthando oluyisimanga. Ngicabanga ukuthi nabazali bami bayaziqhenya ngami ngoba bayangeseka kukhona konke engikwenzayo."
