Lawula i-ADHD emntwaneni ukugwema ingozi yokungenzeka esekhulile

UKULOKHU uhlehlisa noma uqhuba isikhathi andukuba wenze into ethile, ukuvama ukwenza izinto ezinobungozi, ukuthwala kanzima uma kumele wenze imisebenzi ethile yosuku nokuthi ube nenkinga yokungakwazi ukugxilisa umqondo wakho entweni eyodwa - ngezinye zezimpawu zesifo sengqondo i-Attention Deficit Disorder (i-ADD) ebantwini abadala.

"Bekuvame ukuthi kufundiswe izingane ukuthi zigweme kanjani ukuhaqwa yi-ADHD zisencane, kepha kwacaca ukuthi izimpawu zale nkinga ziyaqhubeka zivele nalapho umuntu esekhulile. Kanti futhi okunye okwaqapheleka wukuthi abanye abantu abadala abanezinkinga ezahlukene zokusebenza komqondo babuye bangavezi izimpawu ezisobala zenkinga abanayo, okuba sengathi umuntu akanankinga nje kepha inkinga igqame ngokuthi athwale kanzima ukugxilisa umqondo entweni eyodwa noma ethile, futhi ahlale ehlehlisa uma kumele enze into," usho kanje.

Izingane ezine-ADHD zona zivame ukuba nomdlandla kakhulu wokwenza izinto ezahlukene, ezinye zazo ezinobungozi. Zivame nokuthi zikhulume ngokwedlulele kunezinye, zihlale ziphithizela nje, umuntu abe matasa kepha kube kungabonakali ukuthi umatasa ngani. 

Emagumbini okufundela uzibona ngokuthi zisuke ezihlalweni zazo, ziyophazamisa ezinye, zingafuni ukulalela uma kufundiswa futhi ziphazanyiswa wubala ekufundeni kwazo. Okunye okugqamayo ngezingane ezine-ADHD wukuthi azibi nesineke sokulinda, umuntu ufuna ukuthi into ayifunayo nayidingayo yenzeke ngokushesha, nangesikhathi afuna ngaso yena. 

"Abantu abanale nkinga ye-ADD noma i-ADHD baba nenkinga yokuba nomfutho omkhulu nongaphezu kokwenza. Lokho kubandakanya ukuthi umuntu ehluleke ukuhlela ukuthi enze ini futhi ngasiphi isikhathi, futhi uba nenkinga yokulawula imizwa yakhe. Uba nanenkijnga yokungakhumbuli izinto ezithile okwenza kube nzima ukukhumbula imisebenzi yosuku, ngenxa yokuthi ukucabanga kwakhe ngezinto ezahlukene kuthikanyezwa wubala," kusho uDkt Meys.

Uxwayise nangokuthi lezi zimo akumele ziphanjaniswe nokuba yivila njengoba abantu abadala abane-ADHD beba nenkinga yokuthi umuntu uyakwazi ukuqala into noma umsebenzi othile, kepha abe nenkinga yokungakwazi ukuwuphetha uma sekumele afinyelele esiphethweni, okwenza ukuthi baphatheke kabi futhi bangabi nasineke sokumelana nalokho.

"Ngakho uma ingekho indlela eqondile umuntu ayisebenzisayo ukulawula ukudloba kwalesi simo, kungenza ukuthi sibe nomthelela omubi isikhathi eside. Ezikoleni izingane zingaba nenkinga yokuthi kube sengathi ziyavilapha noma azilawuleki, bese ziphatheka kabi ngoba abantu bengaqondi ukuthi zinayiphi inkinga.

Ukungatholi usizo lwezempilo kulesi simo kungaba wumthwalo kubazali nakothisha bezingane ezinaso, okungenza nokuthi umuntu onaso kepha engenzi lutho ukusilawula nokuselapha, abe sengcupheni yokuphathwa ngezinye izifo ezeyamene nokusebenza kwengqondo, kanti futhi kungenza nokuthi aze asebenzise izidakamizwa ezahlukene ngokweqile ngoba eselawulwa yile nkinga emphethe nje," kucebisa uDkt Meys.

"Imishanguzo yalesi simo iyona ndlela esahamba phambili yokusilawula, kanti futhi nokuthi uxhumane nodokotela bengqondo kungakusiza ukuthola ezinye izindlela ongazisebenzisa ukusithena amandla," kusho yena.
