INHLANGANO engenzi nzuzo, ebhekelele ukucwaninga ngamakhambi ezifo ezahlukene, iNational Association for Continence (NAFC), isiveze ukuthi ukhwantalala ngenye yezinto eholela ekutheni abantu bazichamele uma belele.
I-NAFC iveze ukuthi inkinga yokuzichamela uma ulele phecelezi, i-bedwetting, ayihluphi izingane kuphela njengoba bekhona nasebekhulile abalala bavuke sebezishobingele ekuseni ngenxa yezinkinga ezahlukene.
Enye yezinkinga ezidala lokho wukhwantalala, wukugqilazeka komqondo, wukuphathwa yizifo ezifana nesohlangothi, ukuvuvukala kwe-prostate gland, yinkinga yokuqwasha ebusuku nenkinga yokucindezeleka, ungakwazi ukuphefumula kahle uma ulele.
I-NAFC ithi nakuba ziningi izizathu ezidala le nkinga, kodwa cishe u-2% wabantu abanenkinga yokuzichamela belele idalwa yizizathu zezempilo, ezingalapheka uma bezisukumela ngokushesha.
“Kwezinye izingane ukuchama zilele kuyingxenye yokukhula, kepha ukuqhubeka noma sezikhulile kungaba yizimpawu salesi sifo esidinga ukufakelwa izibuko ngokushesha,” kusho iNAFC ocwaningweni lwayo.
Ngokusho kweNAFC, ubungozi balesi sifo wukuthi sinomkhuba wokuqhubekela esizukulwaneni esizayo kulabo abakhule sibaphethe.
Ithi ngokocwaningo elwenzile, izingane zabafana yizona ezisengcupheni yokuqhubeka nokuzichamela ngisho sezindala.
Ukugwema ukuzithola usukule nkinga, ikhuthaza abantu ukuqaphela indlela abaphila ngayo, bagweme ukuphuza amanzi sekusele amahora ambalwa balale.
“Okunye okusizayo wukuthi konke okuphuzwayo umuntu akuphuze aze adele phakathi nosuku engakadli isidlo sakusihlwa, ukwenza isiqiniseko sokuthi ipayipi lomchamo alunamthamo omningi ngesikhathi sokulala.
“Abazame nokugwema ukuphuza utshwala neziphuzo ezine-caffeine; itiye nekhofi, ngezikhathi zasebusuku. Nakho ukuqala ngokuchama ngaphambi kokulala kusiza kakhulu ukugwema ukuzichamela usulele,” kucebisa iNAFC.
I-NAFC inxuse abadala nabancane ukukhuthalela ukuhlola emtholampilo ukugwema ukuhlaselwa yizifo ezifana nalesi, nokuthi uma kwenzeka uqalwa yile nkinga usumdala, uphuthume kudokotela ukuze uthole usizo kusenesikhathi.
